Old Projects
These are two older projects I created. I came upon the pictures and thought I would post them since I haven't had time to create anything so far this week.
This scrapbook page is of my grandma (or mamawl) I believe the paper collection is Cosmo Cricketr. The butterflies were made with a Sizzlet from Stampin' Up. The lace and bling I received in a swap. My Grandma was beautiful! She passed away a couple of years ago-she was basically my mom...I miss her everyday!
The Pin cushion I altered from and old glass contaner given to me by a friend. I Mod Podged designer paper to the glass container, waited for it to dry over night and then inked it up a little. I filled the inside with poly fil and covered the top with black fabric. To secure it in place I used black lace around the top and hot glue to secure it in place. I think the twill measuring tape finished it off nicely! All of the stick pins are handmade by me or other ladies from swaps at Your Paper Pantry.
Enjoy! Have a great day!

Altered Mouse Traps!
Today I got happy Mail from Phyllis Brown! We were swap partners in the populART swap over at Your Paper Pantry www.Yourpaperpantry.ning.com. She did a wonderful job and I love both of them!

Holiday Book Text Wreaths
Recycled Book Wreaths!
Sorry for the small photos!
Altered Mouse Traps
Altered Mouse Trap
You can truely alter anything!
I made these for a swap I joined on Your Paper Pantry.
For the steam punk version I used:
Graphic 45 paper, Tim Holtz elements and flowers from i am roses. For the middle of the flowers I used bead caps and just spreaded them out. Everything else I used came from my stash and lost its packaging long ago!
For the sewing themed trap I used:
Cosmo Cricket paper, shapes cut with my silhouette. I also dug through my ever growing button hoard/collection.
These can be used as memo holders for the fridge if you put magnets on the back. One of my favorite ideas is fastening 7 of these together and labeling them with the days of the week- I think that would make a great to do list/calander. Just google altered mouse traps you will be amazed!
