Life Styles Crafts DC0352 Business Card Holder

Scrapbook
Paper: Paper Studio, DCWV. Leaves: Recollections,Twine: Paper Trey Ink. I cut 3 business cards out with patterned paper and cardstock, anymore and it will be too thick for the holder, and fastened them together with a brad.
This die also has a lot of uses: Love notes, notes for lunch boxes, Christmas tags/gift tags…I thought the small scrapbook would be a good souvenir to give out to guest at Thanksgiving since most of us have digital cameras and can print from a home computer (good projects for kids to complete anyway) I will be making Christmas tags and gift card holders with it this year!

Life Styles Crafts Drawer Box DC0363

Fall Treat Box
Paper: Cardstock-Paper Studio, Patterned paper- DCWV, Pearls: Studio G, Ribbon: Hobby Lobby, Twine: Paper Trey Ink, Stamp Set: Stampin Up- Falling Leaves, Ink also from SU, Leaves: Cut with Silhouette, embossed with a Provo Crafts folder. I cut the all pieces from cardstock and patterned paper, assembled with cardstock and decorated with patterned paper. First drawer: Cut a piece of cardstock 7”x1.5 “score at 1.5” 4xs decorate as desired. Second Drawer: Decorate and add a treat!

These boxes could be used as dinner favors, small thank you gifts, advent calendar if layered, Christmas tree ornaments if you loop the ribbon at the top. A vintage theme for this box would be wonderful. My youngest son put one together and is using it to hide his change…from his sister J…so add a childs trinket holder to that list.

                    Lifestyles Crafts Treat Carrier DC0354

Paper: Cardstock, and patterned paper from Paper Studio, Stamps: Trick or Treaters is My Favorite Things, Scary Treats for you sentiment: Inky Antics, Trick or Treat Sentiment: Studio G, Black pearls: Studio G, Ribbon: Hobby Lobby, Punch: Bat- Martha Stewart, cut each treat carrier die out twice if using a thick double sided patterned paper. Since I used one sided patterned paper I used the die to cut two different pieces of patterned paper and cut another in cardstock. I attached each piece of patterned paper to opposite sides of the cardstock to make the carrier sturdier. Stamped images and colored them with copics. I used the Petite Oval Nestabilities S4140 to cut the image out and layered on a different color using a larger die.The banner die included in this set is framing the stamped image (LOVE IT). I cut half inch strips of orange paper to go around the treat carrier- I lined red line tapearound the carrier and then “ruffled” the paper around the box. Layered the bat punch to give it some movement. The gift card ribbons are also one of the dies that I cut by folding the paper in half and positioning it so the fold would not be cut . And of course lots of ribbon!

This die was great and is so versatile. It could be used for Birthdays…any holiday, small gifts in a jar, a s’mores kit, a small desk organizer if you add small cups to it to add pencils, etc…..the possibilities are endless!
Thanks to Darlene Placito at DUTCH PAPER CRAFTS! Go check her blog out she carries beautiful dies and you really can't beat her prices and customer service! http://dutchpapercrafts.blogspot.com/
