Paper~Sketch Challenge

Tuesday Morning Sketches #209

So glad it's the weekend and I don't have to work! It has been a busy week with my children starting school! That being said I have had a few minutes of quiet time to create! I created this card today for Tuesday Morning Sketches! I'm kind of liking the sketch challenges...obviously! Now I'm off to start on my next projects for Dutch Paper Crafts!

Paper~Bugaboo's Stella Says Sketch - Challenge 139

You are my "Son"shine

Finally participating in a challenge again and it feels goooooood! This is my take on the above sketch from Bugaboo. The cute image is from Bugaboo of course! I colored it with Prismacolors and Gamasol. The clouds are a Fiskars punch, the paper and ribbon from my poor neglected stash! The sentiment was computer generated and the song I use to love to sing my oldest son when he was a baby!

Snapshots~St. George Island

An Unexpected Vacation

This is one of the many things that have kept me away this Summer/year!
A much welcomed trip for unwelcomed reasons! I have a beautiful, young and wonderful aunt that was diagnosed with terminal cancer a few months ago and this is what she wanted...so we made it happen! We had always talked about going on a family vacation to the beach, but always just put it off to "next year". Well we don't have next year now so within 2 weeks we planned a beach vacation for 10 people. It was short of a miracle that we found a house to our families needs..but we did and it was amazing! We had a wonderful trip and I will always be grateful that I was able to go!

LOVE EVERY MINUTE WITH YOUR FAMILY!

FAMILY FIRST!

My Heart 2012

Nellie Sellen Paper Punch Release for Dutch Paper Crafts

This is my latest design team project for Dutch Paper Crafts. All of the punches and dies can be found at http://dutchpapercrafts.blogspot.com/.  Darlene the owner of Dutch Paper Crafts made a terrific video of my projects http://dutchpapercrafts.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html. These punches were a lot of fun to use and make card making easy. The images are digital stamps from Whimsy Stamps and Whimsie Doodles digital stamps.
